JOB SUMMARY:
Performs minor maintenance of all buildings, grounds and equipment while supervising Maintenance I and Maintenance II.
We are looking for a reliable Maintenance Manager to oversee all installation, repair, and upkeep operations of the company’s facilities. The goal is to ensure the company facilities are well-cared for and adequate to support the company’s business operations.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Hands-on experience and knowledge of repairs and maintains machinery, physical structures of the facilities, equipment, plumbing, HVAC and electrical systems of all Goodwill facilities.
- Schedules major repairs through vending sources and maintains records on repairs, maintenance, and vendors.
- Maintains grounds of Goodwill properties by cutting lawns, trimming, and edging walks and flower beds, and pruning shrubs and trees. Sprays lawns, shrubs and trees with fertilizer, herbicides, and insecticides.
- Performs ground maintenance duties including mowing and snow removal.
- Assures that fire extinguishers are inspected and maintained and are in an operable condition.
- Performs monthly pressure test on sprinkler systems.
- Services and maintains heating and air conditioning units.
- Follows, enforces, and provides training to ensure that all safety rules and regulations are followed. Completes and submits any necessary forms and/or reports immediately but no longer than within 24 hours whenever an incident occurs.
OTHER JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be 21 years of age.
- Must have a valid Oklahoma Driver’s License, with a good driving record.
- Must be eligible for positive outcome on required State of Oklahoma criminal conviction background check.
- Must maintain appropriate requirements for legal vehicle operation including current automobile insurance, inspection, and license plates.
- Successfully passing pre-employment drug test and must maintain compliance with Goodwill’s Drug and Alcohol Abuse Policy.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Practical experience/knowledge of all phases of building maintenance required. Mechanical Journeyman’s license, Refrigerant Recovery Certificate, and First-Class Stationary Engineer’s License required. Plumbing, carpentry and welding experience required. Two to four years’ experience preferred. Must have supervisory experience.

- Climbing, balancing, talking, hearing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, handling, fingering, feeling, seeing, depth perception, field of vision and color vision.
- Lifting/Carrying: Medium work-- Medium work: Lifting 50 lbs. maximum, with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 25 lbs.
- Pushing/Pulling: Heavy Work: Lifting 50 lbs. maximum, one-man lift, and 100 lbs. maximum, two-man lift, with frequent lifting and/or carrying objects weighing up to 25 lbs.
